Have you been through countless auditions, without any idea of how well you did?
Do you want more experience in calming your nerves in an audition environment?
Do you find yourself missing out on lead roles and are baffled as to why?

If you’ve been nodding your head, this workshop is for you.

We want to make up for the lack of feedback in auditions, as well as to build a pressure-free environment to gain audition experience. Whether you want to get into a performing arts school, or score your dream role in that next production, Be You is here to help. We’re here to provide up-and-coming performers with the opportunity to gain audition experience, and receive constructive, helpful feedback.

The process emulates a real audition process, where you will be allocated a ten minute slot at a nominated time to come and show us how you audition. To cover a range of musical styles and genres, you will be able to choose to “audition” for two different shows, which change each time we run the workshop. Please let us know of your preference at your audition. For this audition, you are asked to prepare 32-bar cuts of two songs.

You will receive detailed audition feedback one to two weeks after the workshop, with practical tips for improvement. The feedback will be based on all aspects of your audition process. You will be able to choose the style of feedback that you prefer, whether it be more positively-focused, measured, or more direct. The feedback will also inform you of what roles you were most competitive for.

Email to register your interest in attending the next workshop, or like our Facebook page to stay up-to-date.

Once your spot is confirmed, we will send you an audition brief with everything you need to know about how the audition will run, and what to expect.
