Hailing originally from the regional city of Ballarat, Daniel Hillman is an upcoming Actor/Writer often noted for his playful sense of humour, and his love of delving into the ‘weird’.

Whilst studying a Bachelor of Acting for Stage and Screen at Federation University (formally BAPA), Daniel appeared as Dromio of Syracuse in ‘The Comedy of Errors’ (directed by James Pratt), John Wisehammer in ‘Our Country’s Good’ (directed by Beng Oh), and was also given the opportunity to write and perform his one-man-show ‘Imprint’, which was presented at the annual student theatre festival.

After graduating in 2019, Daniel toured for two years with Brainstorm Productions; one of Australia’s largest and most respected educational theatre companies. Here, Daniel performed in ‘The H Team’ and ‘The Flipside’ (both directed by Jenny Johnson), travelling around Victoria performing to over 25,000 students in 2021 alone.

Daniel is incredibly excited for ‘Ordinary Days’ to be his Music Theatre debut, and is very grateful to Be You Productions for the amazing opportunity.
